About this internship
Imagine creating dashboards that can visualize human movement through indoor spaces – turning invisible data streams into powerful, interactive visual stories. At Crownstone, you’ll develop a digital interface that transforms raw location data into meaningful insights.
You’ll be building a web management dashboard that acts like a technological nervous system, capturing and presenting real-time tracking information from Bluetooth devices and managing all the components of the platform.
What will you do and learn?
This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on real-world, impactful technology while receiving mentorship from experienced engineers. Youâll:
- Develop interactive, user-friendly dashboards to visualize data and manage the network
- Create interactive data visualizations that make complex data easy to understand
- Create user-friendly management dashboards to manage the different components of the platform
- Integrate REST APIs to enable real-time data insights
- Work with modern web development technologies, including React.js, REST API integrations, and data visualization libraries
- Collaborate with an experienced team of tech innovators, providing exposure to a startup innovation culture
- Gain hands-on experience in building applications that bridge the physical and digital worlds
About you
No need to be a tech wizard from the start. If you’re studying in a science or engineering field and are comfortable with programming, you’ll fit right in.
Ideally, you have the following qualifications:
- Currently studying web development, computer science, or a related field
- In your final year (master’s)
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Experience with programming, preferably in React, or eager to learn it quickly
Itâs a bonus if:
- Youâre also familiar with (or willing to learn) REST API integrations
- Youâve any UX/UI experience and have an eye for detail and usability
