About this internship

At Crownstone, we have the ability to collect a vast amount of valuable data, including temperature, humidity, power usage, RSSI signals (between Crownstones, tags, and devices), device types, and smartphone orientation data. Currently, this rich data source remains largely untapped.

Your goal in this internship is to explore and develop methods to fuse and leverage these diverse datasets to significantly enhance the accuracy and reliability of indoor localisation.

What will you do and learn?

About you

You don’t need to have all the answers right away! If you’re studying in a science or engineering discipline and enjoy programming and data analysis, you’ll feel right at home.

Ideally, you have the following qualifications:

  • Are currently studying computer science, data science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • In your final year (or master’s)
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with programming like C(++) and Python.

It’s a bonus if:

  • Have previously worked with sensor data fusion or IoT datasets.
  • Have experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
  • Enjoy research-oriented projects and experimentation.
